Your tree sounds so beautiful. I love glass balls but we can't have them until the boys are big enough to not accidentally pull one off (or deliberately pull one off) and break it. <br /><br />We too do not travel on Christmas. There is something so pleasant and homey about spending a whole morning in your pajamas, laughing and snuggling and spending time together without any rush or any stress. <br /><br />I like your make your own pizza idea for Chistmas Eve. The past few Christmas Eve's David and I have tried to have an "authentic" dinner, something along the lines we suppose Mary and Joseph might have eaten. It sounds cheesey, but oh well, perhaps we are too sentimental. :) Last year we had homemade Jewish bread (I forget the name of it at the moment), figs and lamb.
